Championship Ashe was released during the 2017 Season 7 World Championship event and was available in store until it was eventually removed. Priced at 1350 RP players could add this awesome skin to their collection before the World Championship period was over.
The skin features Ashe as a glorious champion and is dressed head to toe in shiny warrior armor. She also has a long white cloak with blue thrills coming out of either side of her shoulders. Combine this with her white and gold bow, which seems to deal bonus damage just because of its looks, and it's an impressive-looking skin that every sane enemy champion should fear.
In addition to the visual makeover, Ashe also has plenty of other changes including a new recall animation, sound effects, and particles. Some changes are more obvious, like the recall animation, while some of them are more subtle.
What can serve here as a nice example is the effect the frost archer puts on enemy units with her frost shot and other abilities. It seems similar to the original one, but a keen eye will notice that when Ashe's critical strikes deal increased damage to an enemy champion, the color of their path is now much more vivid.
During her recall animation, Ashe fires her arrow in the air as if she was trying to land a basic attack on a crow flying by, and then transforms her bow into a golden chair. She then sits down and teleports back to base while her blue shoulder trails circle around the chair. It is all finished with a rain of multiple arrows.
As part of the new makeover, the skin also includes new sound effects which are included for basic attacks and abilities. This is pretty standard with most of the other Championship skins that have been released in the past.
Initially, the skin was released in store for 1350 RP during the 2017 Worlds period. During this time players could buy the skin and add it to their account. Once Worlds were over, the skin was removed from the store and is unlikely to ever return again.
