Workshop Nunu is one of the first Christmas skins created for League of Legends. It was released shortly after the game's full release on 27 October 2009. As such, it was a very underwhelming skin at first. Just look at the old and new workshop Nunu side by side.

Finally, on 29 August 2018, Nunu & Willump received a full visual and gameplay update. This change covered all of his previously released skins, even Workshop Nunu.

Skin Review

To play the part of Santa's elves, Willump and Nunu change their outfits in this skin. Willump, disguised as an elf, mounts Nunu, who plays the part of a beautiful reindeer. This attire is perfect for our snow-themed Freljord heroes, given their jovial temperament. They would feel quite at home in Santa's workshop.

This Nunu skin is a steal at only 520 RP, and we highly recommend it if you enjoy playing them.

Since Workshop Nunu & Willump is a legacy skin, you can't freely purchase it any time of the year. It's part of the themed skin line that you can buy only at a specific time of the year. This particular skin is part of the Snowdown Showdown event. You can purchase it only during the last patch of the year, which usually starts around the 2nd or 3rd week of December.
