Whistler Village Twitch is a legacy skin that was released in February 2010.
Released to celebrate the 2010 Winter Olympics in February, Whistler Village Twitch is named after the Whistler Olympic Park where the event took place.
The skin itself references the professional Biathlon athlete Magdalena Neuner and includes a new texture for Twitch as well as a model texture for his crossbow. The skin is strikingly different from his default skin and in our opinion looks a lot better.
A Biathlon is a winter sport that combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting - this is a perfect theme for Twitch! Although Twitch prefers a crossbow instead of a rifle, as long as he can shoot things it doesn't make a difference.
Unfortunately, the skin has no new animations, particles or sounds but considering the skin was made back in 2010 when the game was just starting out, this is no surprise.
Since the skin was released to celebrate the 2010 Winter Olympics, it has since been removed from the store. For a brief time after it’s visual update the skin returned to the store for a limited duration. There is a chance that the Whistler Village Twitch skin will be re-released to celebrate the 2018 Winter Olympics along with some new skins.
The only way to get this skin today is by purchasing an account with it already enabled. To view all of our accounts with Whistler Village Twitch enabled click below.
