Striker Lucian Lol Skin

Striker Lucian sees this popular Marksman transformed into an athletic footballer – more specifically, into Edgar Davids – at least, that’s what Edgar Davids claims.

The famous footballer actually took Riot to court over the use of his likeness – as far as we can see, the only similarities are the dreadlocks, dark skin, and glasses. Despite this, Edgar Davids won the court case. Riot was ordered to disclose how much the Striker Lucian skin had earned, a share of which would go to Edgar Davids. There’s some good news though! Fortunately for us, Striker Lucian is still around.

His splash art is a tad cluttered with Champions – first, we have Goalkeeper Maokai, who looks like he’s about to swipe at Red Card Twisted Fate.

Superfan Gragas has invaded the pitch and gets in the way of the players as they scramble for the ball. By comparison, Striker Lucian looks a little bland.

He’s striking a dramatic pose, lunging forward as the ball disperses tufts of grass. The crowd in the background are blurred, but this is clearly a football pitch, what with the glaring white lights and the foam finger, held aloft by a spectator.

Confetti rains down from the sky, which helps to draw our attention toward Striker Lucian and the rest of the team. Overall, this is a decent piece, albeit a tad hectic.

In-game, Striker Lucian wears a pair of dark-tinted glasses, and keeps his hair out of his face with a blue band. This band compliments the black, blue and white of his football kit perfectly.

We would have liked to have seen a backing animation that involves some ball kicking, but given that this skin only costs 750 RP, it’s well worth the cost!
