Star Guardian Syndra is a common skin released in September 2017.
This skin is part of a much more extensive collection of 10 different Champions, including Star Guardian Ezreal and Star Guardian Ahri!
One of the selling points of Star Guardian Syndra is the evil kitten balls that her orbs have become – in fact, we’d say the skins worth 1350 RP just for them.
That might seem steep for some cosmetic changes, but the orbs have plenty of personality! They even cackle whenever you activate your ult – the only time they actually do smile.
Plus, they seem to be inspired by a mix of the Gastly and Haunter Pokemon – which we think is pretty cool!
As for the sound effects, they have a retro game sort of feel to them; lighthearted and fun – plus, the outfit has undergone a similar transformation – it’s now bright and sparkly, which while nice, is in stark contrast to Syndras evil personality.
Oh, and the orbs melt away into bubbles when they die!
