Some might say that the splash art of SSW Talon is bland – while we don’t believe that, it’s the in-game appearance that people truly care about, and this is undoubtedly one of the best in-game Talon skins – if not the best.
Emblazoned upon the back of this modern-day assassins white jacket is the SSW logo – the jacket itself has its very own real-life story though;
During the 2014 LoL World Championship, things were going quite well for Samsung White’s sister team, Samsung Blue, that is, until they finally had a confrontation with Samsung White.
But this has more to do with one particular LoL legend, a player known as “Dade.”
Throughout his time with Samsung Blue, “Dade” was never seen without his jacket. Renown as a tactical genius, his reluctance to take the jacket off gained it the reputation as “The Generals Jacket.”
In essence, it became his uniform, but eventually, he decided to remove it for good, in one of League of Legends most memorable out of game moments to date.
Samsung White completely decimated Samsung Blue in one of the worst stomps that the LoL Championship series had ever seen.
Having been knocked out, Dade removed his famed jacket and surrendered it to the opposing mid laner, PawN.
The powerful symbolic message is clear; The handing over of the Generals Jacket is a sign of Dade admitting to being bested by PawN, handing over the torch to him. Since then, Pawn was regularly with Dade’s jacket hanging on his chair whenever he played in tournaments.
The fact that Riot included this jacket in the game is awesome, but there’s even more to SSW Talon!
His skin-tight trousers combined with the ankle-high trainers helps emphasise he “modern ninja” image, and his gloves that cut off at the second knuckle really tie the whole look together.
SSW Talon shares his skin theme with SSW Thresh, Twitch, Rengar, and Singed – in short, the Champions used by Samsung White to dominate the League of Legends worlds finals.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
