Snow Day Gnar Lol Skin

Snow Day Gnar is a legacy skin that was released in December 2015.

Snow Day Gnar was released to celebrate the Snowdown Showdown event back in 2015. The skin was inspired by the Siberian Husky dog breed that has thick fur and is used to spending time outside in cold environments. The splash art for the skin shows Gnar diving through the air probably onto an unsuspecting enemy. In the artwork, he is dressed in winter clothing including a snow hat and mittens. Gnar also shares this theme with Snow Day Bard, Snow Day Malzahar, Snow Day Singed, Snow Day Syndra, Snow Day Ziggs.

The skin itself features Gnar with a new blue texture dressed in warm winter clothes including a new hat and new ice pick as his weapon. He might look cute and lovely but be warned, he’s a lot deadlier than he looks!

Snow Day Gnar also features new particles for his auto attacks and abilities, when he transforms into giant Gnar he now throws a big block of ice instead of a rock. In his normal mode, his bone boomerang has been changed into an ice pick which he throws at enemies.

The skin also has a new recall animation where Gnar builds a snowman before teleporting back to base. To complete the skin, there are several new sounds included for his auto attacks, emotes and abilities.

When the skin was released, it was available in store for 975 RP during the Christmas period. Shortly after it was removed and put in the legacy vault.
