SKT T1 Nami’s splash art isn’t particularly exciting, but the in-game skin definitely is – it’s not even debatable! However, we have to take a look at the splash art before we can move on to the cooler features.
SKT Nami is seen toward the bottom of the splash art, against a backdrop of clouds. She wears a golden headpiece, and wields a staff that looks more unusual than her ordinary staffs, and here’s why; it’s not really a staff.
The Tidecaller has actually been outfitted with an ornate spear, which she holds with her pinky raised like some dainty lady. That’s the only thing dainty about this skin though, everything else screams ‘warrior’
And we don’t just mean the armor that covers her body. The look of pure determination on her face also helps her stand out as a fierce fish lady.
Other SKT skins are seen in the background, including Ekko, Zac, Olaf, and more! As with many group splash arts, having multiple Champions clumped together makes it difficult for each individual to shine, so they end up pulling generic battle poses. This piece is, unfortunately, guilty of this. That being said, we think that in-game SKT T1 Nami more than makes up for it, and here’s why:
First off, her recall animation. We don’t normally start off with recall animations, but we have to make an exception for this masterpiece.
Whenever Nami recalls, the SKT logo appears, atop which sits a table. On this table is a giant rice and seaweed roll, along with mandatory soy sauce. Beneath the table, Wolf’s signature can be seen, but it’s what happens next that is truly…Unusual.
Nami happily flops down on the bed of rice and poses while her staff – we’re talking about her wooden stick, not actual people – takes pictures of her. A pair of giant chopsticks then come down from the heavens and scoop SKT T1 Nami away. This is somewhat reminiscent of Bon Appétit by Katy Perry, as she too is also happy to be turned into an ingredient. For those interested, the song is a little NSFW, but if you’re sure you want to watch it, you can find it here.
Other notable changes include SKT T1 Nami’s hair. Those crimson locks bring her one step closer to the Little Mermaid skin that we’ve all been craving – however the tail is purple instead of the sea-green tail of Ariel.
Her Aqua Prison ability now includes a faint SKT logo beneath it, and most of her abilities come with a dash of golden glow about them.
Overall, this is a top of the line skin and is well worth the 1350 RP price tag!
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
