Sanguine Garen Lol Skin

Sanguine Garen might be a cheap skin, but it’s well worth the cost – the dark crimson armor adds a darker look to the usually light hero of Demacia – that much is evident from the skins splash art:

The hopeless landscape of the broken battlefield around Sanguine Garen creates a sense of despair, with a single beam of sunlight ripping through the cloud coverage and illuminating Garen's bronze armor.

His sword is raised threateningly, and his face is set in a stony expression, as though about to face down one final foe. His sword is inlaid with gold and studded with bright rubies – his armor has a similar golden vine pattern too.

In-game his skin is far paler, almost sickly – this might work better if his armor was a tad duller, but as it stands, he might as well be wearing a traffic cone, given how vibrant his armor is.

This skin was released back in April of 2010, and as with many skins released that long ago, it is currently a Legacy skin. This means that if you were hoping to get your hands on it, you’ll only be able to do so during special events.

Given that Sanguine Garen only costs 520 RP, we strongly recommend that you pick it up, should the chance arise.

However, if you only purchase skins that come with new particles or animations, then this is not the skin for you. Granted, it would look better with some crimson particles, but given how cheap it is, we can’t complain too much.

It’s also worth noting that he bears a bit of resemblance to Darius, one of his sworn enemies – and given their similar abilities, having a skin that offers a visual similarity is nice – if only Sanguine Garen came with some blood coloured particles.
