PROJECT: Leona is a common skin that was released in September 2015.
The skin features Leona as a robotic human from an alternate future in which she is cybernetically augmented into a human droid. Leona also shares the PROJECT skin theme with the following champions:
PROJECT: Leona has had a complete visual makeover and now features Leona as a robot with a large yellow shield and yellow sword which really stand out. Instead of her normal human appearance, she is now completely robotic, with a visor over her face and long white hair.
The skin also includes lots of new particles for all of Leona’s abilities and spells. When using her ultimate, Solar Flare, a large yellow beam of light comes down from the sky in a digital style. All of her other particles and spells match the yellow color theme of the skin.
PROJECT: Leona also features a new recall animation where she strikes her sword around before posing and recalling back to base.
The skin also includes plenty of new robotic noises for her abilities and auto attacks which really help bring the skin to life. In addition to the new ability sound effects, the skin also comes with new robotic voice-overs which Leona says now and then.
