PROJECT: Katarina Lol Skin

PROJECT: Katarina shares her skin theme with PROJECT: VI, PROJECT: Leona, PROJECT: Lucian and PROJECT: Fiora – and if you’ve got four other buddies, why not bring all these skins together; it’s guaranteed to result in a crack squad!

In the past, PROJECT: Katarina acted as a Lieutenant for the G/NETIC rebellion; however, she has since swapped sides and joined PROJECT. There are those amongst the ranks of G/NETIC who hope Katarina is a double agent, but it seems doubtful.

The skin features Katarina transformed into a futuristic soldier, taking down targets with grace and precision – if it weren’t for the rate at which she destroys enemy health bars, she’d barely be recognisable from her default skin!

Perhaps it’s the hair – PROJECT: Katarina has swapped the red locks that she’s known for and now sports a new white do, which has become quite fashionable recently.

That being said, all PROJECT skins appear to have white hair, so perhaps bleaching it white is a form of bizarre initiation.

In terms of her outfit, it’s exceptionally technologically advanced.

The edges of her daggers are so red that they look like twin 1000 degree knives, and although we’re confident her face looks great, that is yet to be seen. Then there’s her armor;

It consists of varying shades of white, red, and black – black being the most dominant of all the colours. This makes sense, given that black is often cited as the colour that people most frequently associated with technology.

As for her face, well we’re sure it looks great, but that remains to be seen;

Literally, her face is hidden behind a visor so PROJECT: Katarina could be anyone behind there.

Her animations have received a fresh new look, with her recall being one of the most fitting.

The moment you hit B, PROJECT: Katarina begins bouncing around the place, teleporting here and there before committing to it and teleporting all the way back to base. This isn’t quite as dramatic if you’re only an inch from base to begin with.

Her voice now has a distorted voice filter over it, as do all the sound effects. This really helps sell the futuristic theme of the skin, making it a must have for any committed Katarina players!
