Infernal Nasus is the skin you go to if you want to make sure enemy marksman wet themselves just that little drop more when they see you charging at them. Sure, Archduke Nasus is funny, but it lacks the commanding presence that this skin brings to the rift.

When you join a match, the first detail that you will likely notice regarding this skin is the multiple heads. In his normal form, Infernal Nasus wears an iron helmet shaped like a hound, next to which sits two metal dog heads on either shoulder. It’s when he activates Fury of the Sands that Infernal Nasus begins to shine.

Those metallic dogs grow into two actual demonic heads – sentient heads that growl and laugh along with Nasus – these beasts have the pointed ears, glowing golden eyes, and flame-coloured fur of hell hounds, which is pretty fitting.

According to the lore, Infernal Nasus was summoned from the deepest pits of hell to introduce the world of Runeterra to Death. This reminds us of another three-headed doggie who had a particular relationship with death – Cerberus, the guardian of the Underworld.

Definitely a cool easter egg for fans of Greek Mythology, but lore alone is unlikely to make you pick up a skin. Don’t worry; there’s plenty of visual changes that should tempt you!

For instance, when Infernal Nasus performs his dance, he places down some large speakers – which, while cool, doesn’t come close to the dance itself.

Given that he’s a K9, it only makes sense that he would imitate another dog – Snoop Dogg, that is. You can see a side by side comparison of the two dances here.

His Spirit Fire ability has changed from a blustering Sandstorm into a crackling pit of hellfire. The ground blackens as magma seeps up to meet those who would oppose him. If that doesn’t scream ‘scary,’ then we don’t know what will!

He’s also received new voice lines, just in case you needed an extra nudge to go and pick him up!
