Infernal Akali Lol Skin

Infernal Akali is a bit of an interesting skin, as she used to be a different skin entirely – that’s right, in the past she went as “Crimson Akali” but since that skin was little more than a Crimson Chroma, she got a total makeover!

Her splash art has gone the way of many other splash arts, and has turned Infernal Akali into a giant titan.

Beneath her baleful gaze, you can see a teeny tiny cultist, arms raised high in worship of the being he’s helped free. Her blades are ablaze, and her skin is a crackling red – not so in game.

In game, Infernal Akali seems to have cooled to a charred black, and her hair is now a flickering tangle of orange. She wears a basic pair of cloth trousers and emits pillars of smoke from her head – which we like to think is what she uses whenever she casts Twilight Shroud.

She shares her fiery theme with such Champions as Wildfire Zyra, Volcanic Wukong, Shadowfire Kindred, Foxfire Ahri, and many, many more. Seriously, Riot really loves their flaming skins – and why wouldn’t they? Setting Champions alight is an easy way to give a badass feel to them.

However, it’s worth noting that not everyone was happy with the change to the Akali skin.

Some believe that “Crimson Akali” was superior, but it was genuinely nothing more than a recolor. Not to mention the fact that Infernal Akali only costs 520 RP!

Why does it come at such a low cost though? Because back when Crimson Akali was just Akali but in red, it was worthless, and Riot was generous enough not to update the price along with the skin.

Unfortunately, this skin is locked away in the Legacy Vault, so if you don’t have it already, you’re out of luck. Of course, there’s a slim chance that you might be able to get it out of a loot box, but the only reliable way to obtain it is by picking it up from our store!
