Ice Toboggan Corki Lol Skin

Ice Toboggan Corki’s helmet has received a few tweaks, and he now sits in a toboggan as opposed to his usual plane. The idea is cute; however the end result is a janky toboggan that floats above the ground and has a machine gun attached to the front of it.

This skin was originally released for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, alongside other such skins as;

Vancouver Amumu, Team Spirit Anivia, Union Jack Fiddlesticks, Whistler Village Twitch and more!

Given that this skin was made for the Winter Olympic Games, you’d think it would have received an icy makeover. That is, unfortunately, not the truth. Actually, the fact that Ice Toboggan Corki kept his original spell particles is slightly jarring.

Not only is he floating on an ice toboggan, but whenever he uses Valkyrie, he still splinters the ground in his wake, transforming the earth into a magma coated mess. Simply swapping the orange out for a light blue would be sufficient for it to fit the skin concept.

And then there’s his phosphorous bomb, which also looks exactly as it did – back when it was released, it was a revolutionary skin, well worth the 1820 RP. Is it worth that much today? Well, that’s for you to decide, however, we’re strongly hoping that when Riot updates Corki they choose to give this skin a frosty feel.

Again, turning Ice Toboggan Corki’s Phosphorous bomb white to resemble a snowball would be super simple, yet extremely fitting.

Overall though, we can understand why Riot didn’t make these changes, as back then the game was still new and given it’s their first Legendary skin, they’ve done a pretty good job. It has since become a Legacy skin though, which means it only comes out once a year. Of course, if you’re lucky, you might get it from a Legacy chest, but that’s pretty unlikely.
