The word Empyrean comes from the Greek word empyros (ἔμπυρος) meaning "in or of fire", traditionally referring to the highest heavens, the realm of pure light and divine fire. This skin takes that meaning and gives it a futuristic neon twist, making Lux a champion of radiant, celestial energy. She’s not really dressed, but instead looks like a being of pure energy with pink and blue highlights, representing the chaotic yet divine fire she wields. Her staff glows with crystalline, otherworldly energy and her masked face adds to the mystery of her transcendent power.
