Elderwood Hecarim is a common skin that was released in November 2016.
The skin features Hecarim made entirely out of wood and has a very similar appearance to a Cenarius from Warcraft lore. Hecarim shares the same Elderwood theme with Elderwood Bard and Elderwood LeBlanc.
The skin features Hecarim transformed into a completely unrecognizable tree Ent that is completely made from wood. He also has a new large metal axe that has detailed wooden engravings on the handle.
His abilities particles from his Spirit of the Dread and Devastating Charge have also been changed to match his woody theme. His ultimate, Onslaught of Shadows has been modified to a greener effect when charging into his enemies. After all, what’s scarier than Hecarim charging towards you? Elderwood Hecarim, that’s what!
Included with the skin is a new recall animation where Hecarim sticks his weapon in the ground, and a tree starts to grow before he teleports back.
The skin also features several new sound effects that match the woody nature theme really well. The new sounds occur for almost all of his abilities and auto attacks which make the skin even more impressive. You really feel like a wooden tree monster!
The Elderwood Hecarim skin is currently available in the Riot store for 1350 RP. If you want to impress your friends with this cool wood themed skin then make sure to buy it as soon as possible. There’s no knowing when it will be removed!
