Dragonblade Talon Lol Skin

With his crimson cape, a shock of black hair, and the red bandana, Dragonblade Talon is clearly strongly inspired by Strider Hiryu.

He’s definitely not the same guy though – I mean sure they might have a similar personality and story, but they’re unique people – honestly, we swear.

Actually, not much is known about Dragonblade Talons lore – we do know he’s a part of the Lunar Revel skin line and was released in 2012 to represent the Year of the Dragon.

That Dragon theme doesn’t carry over to the skin though, but it does look visually appealing with its ruby-encrusted blade cloak – in fact, Dragonblade Talons blade itself is studded with rubies too – it’s quite clear that crimson gems are a bit motif in this skin.

With that being said, it does lack new animations or sound effects.

In Dragonblade Talons splash art he can be seen performing parkour over the rooftops of some Asian inspired architecture as he flings shurikens. (It’s not entirely clear if he’s the one throwing the shurikens or if they’re being thrown at him, as one does appear to be approaching from behind, However, given that they have the same colour scheme as his sword, it’s safe to assume that they’re Dragonblade Talons.)

He has the look of a man who’s about to end the life of another, and behind him is quite an imposing figure;

The head of an enormous shadow dragon can be seen partly obscuring the moon. It adds a real menacing air to the piece, with its red eyes and catfish whiskers that are characteristic of Chinese Dragons.

This skin was released on the 10^th of January 2012 and is purchasable in store right now for 975 RP. While Dragonblade Talon isn’t the best skin in existence, it’s a must-have if you’re a fan of Strider Hiryu!
