The blade that Demonblade Tryndamere wields is probably one of our favourites – not only is it an immensely awesome weapon in its own right, with the way it curves inward toward the tip – better for rending people open – but it’s also an extension of his arm.

In his splash art, Demonblade Tryndamere’s arm is inserted into what we can only assume is a Demons mouth that has a blade jutting out of the other end of it. The copper tail of this Demon ensnares Tryndameres’ arm, and coils all the way up past his shoulder and around his torso. We get the sense that these tendrils are there to do more than prevent the wielder from being disarmed – in fact, we’re almost certain that the blade is the one fueling Tryndamere’s rage, pushing him over the edge.

Demonblade Tryndamere’s eyes sear with blue light as he rakes his sword across the rocky earth, leaving a deep groove and a burning glow of energy in its wake.

There isn’t a whole lot that can be said about the background, except that it’s covered in jagged stalagmites. The rage is clear on Demonblade Tryndamere’s face though, and we get a great look at the blade itself, which is what the focus of this skin is after all.

In-game, Demonblade Tryndamere looks exactly as you’d expect a man driven by rage to look – his oily black hair seems like it’s not been washed since his birth, and the hollowed eyes speak of a past wrought with anger and violence.

He’s been granted a new animation for his mocking shout ability, where he hastily spins around, along with a new, more intimidating, voice over.

His armor is basic, yet fitting – a simple mishmash of browns and tans that compliment his dark hair and orange blade well. Additionally, his skin has a sickly grey pallor, as though the blade is draining his life force.

Demonblade Tryndamere is edgy in the best way possible, and a must-have for anyone who really wants to terrify their opponents!
