Death Sworn Katarina hit the rift during the 2017 Harrowing event, alongside Death Sworn Zed and Viktor. If you were fortunate enough to by the bundle back when it was released, then you would have enjoyed a whopping 50% discount on all 3 of these skins!
The skin itself has a few minor changes that make a significant difference. For instance, her sky blue hair has an ethereal nature to it –due to the way it floats and flutters, as though under water.
Riot has also tweaked her twin blades, giving the Sinister Blades a crystalline appearance, and spectral abilities complete with a purple glow that emanates up her arms. Some people have referred to the blades as Minecraft swords, given their diamond-like appearance – we think they look appropriately spooky for a Halloween skin though!
Her abilities haven't changed too much, aside from becoming bluer. That being said, she has received a new recall animation where she vanishes her blades and dives upward into a dark portal.
Although you can no longer benefit from the bundle bargain, this skin will make a comeback every Halloween, so don't forget to pick it up for 1350 RP when you have the chance!
