Curling Veigar is a legacy skin that was released in February 2010.
Released to celebrate the 2010 Winter Games, the skin features Veigar as a curling player which is a popular sport at the winter games. Curling Veigar was also released with several other winter-themed skins at the same time, these skins include:
The skin features slight model changes for Veigar as he now holds a curling brush in one hand instead of his mighty staff. The texture on his hat has also been modified to feature some small white stripes which make him stand out from his default skin. The color of his robes has also been changed from the default purple to a wintery blue to match the overall theme.
Unlike other Veigar skins, this skin features no new animations, particles or sounds. This is due to both the price of the skin as well as the time it was released. Considering League of Legends had only been around for about a year upon release, employees at Riot were too busy working on new champions to include new animations, sounds or particles.
Released way back in 2010, the skin was available for a limited time during the 2010 Winter Games. Costing 520 RP in the store, only a few players managed to grab themselves a very rare skin. If you want to add this little guy to your skin collection, then be sure to check out of League of Legends accounts with him below.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
