We have to speculate on the lore of this skin quite a bit, but we’ve made some educated guesses that we feel quite sure of. Before we can get into that though, we need to look at Creator Viktor’s splash art; so you understand what we’re talking about.
First, we see fingers of scarlet lightning arcing off Creator Viktor’s mechanical staff. His usual robotic 3rd arm has been transformed into a more pincer-like shape, and his face is particularly eye-catching.
His mouth is sealed off with a metal grate, much like that worn by Hannibal Lecter. It’s what hides in the fog that wreaths the factory around him that’s particularly intriguing. (Seriously though, why do so many splash arts opt to use fog to obscure the background?)
While the few visible machines are nice, it’s Battlecast Cho’Gath, Urgot, Kog’Maw and Vel’Koz, all marching on Creator Viktor’s behest that makes this piece what it is.
They even look like their master, with the red glow and iron armour.
Why would Viktor decide to upgrade the Voidborn? Well, the great inventor's goal was originally to help humanity. We know that he’s had plenty of his ideas stolen, so it seems more than plausible that he grew vexed with his fellow humans not appreciating him.
This seething rage likely resulted in him upgrading the sworn enemies of life on Runeterra – the Voidborn – along with Urgot and Skarner of course.
In-game, a crackling noise now accompanies Creator Viktor’s Death Ray, and whenever Chaos Storm is cast, a drone now hovers overhead, keeping a watchful eye out.
While Creator Viktor was released back in 2013, he’s still available in store right now – however, this skin will set you back 1350 RP. Why that might be fine for many players, consider checking out our Unranked smurfs store if you’d like something a little rarer.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
