Blacksmith Poppy Lol Skin

While Blacksmith Poppy looks pretty great in-game, her splash art is exceptional;

A mighty hammer begins to take shape as Blacksmith Poppy slams it with her much smaller hammer. Through the smoke and grit, chains dangle from the ceiling. Toward the back of the forge, blades crafted by Blacksmith Poppy can be seen hanging from the wall.

She has a determined look in her eyes with the molten hot metal reflected in them – her face is coated in soot, and she’s also dyed her hair a fiery auburn.

In-game, Blacksmith Poppy wields the same sort of roughly made hammer shown in her splash art.

The ‘Keeper’s Verdict’ ability also has new particles! The fiery, unfinished hammer, adding a much-needed bit of variety to the skin.

She wears a bronze visor, and her garb is basic leathers and cloth, as you might expect from someone who spends most of her days labouring in front of a blazing forge.

We actually have a bit of lore to discuss about Blacksmith Poppy too. For a start, she studied under the tutelage of Sir Ornn. She believes that the hammer she created is destined to be wielded by a legendary hero, failing to realize that she’s been the hero all along – a little cliché, perhaps, but still cool nonetheless!

She’s also a part of the ‘Medieval’ skin line, which also includes ‘Little Knight Amumu,’ ‘White Mage Veigar,’ ‘King Tryndamere,’ ‘Medieval Twitch’ and more!

Unfortunately, this skin does not come with any new animations or sound effects, but it does what it set out to do admirably. It’s also sealed away in the Legacy vault, which means that if you’re hoping to pick it up, you may have to wait a while.

If the chance to grab it does come along however, you’ll be pleased to know that it will only set you back 975 RP!
