Bittersweet Lulu Lol Skin

Bittersweet Lulu is one of those classic skins that, despite being released back in 2012, continues to stand out. It’s our favourite skin for the adorable Lulu by a country mile, and here’s why;

First, we have her splash art, and boy do we have a lot to say about it. The horrified cupcake Lulu is holding was probably our reaction the first time we saw it. A particularly menacing Pix is about to tear into this sweet treat, but it’s so much darker when you know that this poor cupcake is actually a person.

Bittersweet Lulu also has Heterochromia which, in real life, is a medical condition. In League of Legends, however, it’s a way to up the creepiness factor of Bittersweet Lulu even further.

The child-like face combined with that smile really stands out too. Seriously, if you want a smile that that looks fairly normal but is just eerie enough to make your flesh crawl, look no further than Bittersweet Lulu.

The mildly demonic look is topped off by the fact that her staff – which is now a purple and white candy cane – is ablaze. The cupcake is also on fire, just in case we needed any more reason to be afraid.

Hardly anything is visible of the background, except for a large lollipop, which may belong to Lollipoppy. Lollipoppy is pretty terrifying in her own right, but it seems fitting that so much of Bittersweet Lulu dominates this piece. It helps to really hammer home the spookiness factor.

It might just be us, but she also seems doll-like too, from her plastic-looking hair, right down to those weird pink spots on her cheeks.

In-game, Bittersweet Lulu is renown for transforming those who would oppose her into cherry-topped cupcakes. Her hat is adorned with hard-boiled sweets, and Pix now has white and pink butterfly wings. This wings perfectly compliment his masters purple colour scheme, really tying the whole piece together. This has to be some of Riots finest work on Lulu, even if others seem as though they have more to offer.
