Bilgewater Katarina Lol Skin

Bilgewater Katarina was released in 2010, which makes it one of the first Katarina’s skins ever released. As Katarina was a popular champion in those days, this skin was also popular among summoners. The skin is now retired and is in the legacy vault but we can still consider it as a non-super rare skin.

The skin comes with a new splash art in which there is a pirate ship on the back and on the front, we see Bilgewater Katarina. The skin looks very modeled detailly although this cannot be said for the splash art as it looks a bit simple. When we look at the model, we see Katarina as an adventurous pirate. Her outfit looks similar but there are some red tones, different from the original Katarina skin. The biggest differences that you would catch in the first place would be the blades she holds, dark hair color which creates uniqueness, and the eye patch that gives the look of a pirate.  She also wears a brown pirate hat that supports the pirate theme of the Bilgewater Katarina skin.

As for the particles, the skin comes with a new particle on the Bouncing Blade ability. Other than this, there are no other new particles. And unfortunately, there are no new animations or sound effects on this skin. Still, it is a very good skin especially for the players who like playing Katarina since it gives a very original perspective while playing the champion.

Also, note that the skin is currently in the legacy vault which means you cannot buy from the official store and wait for the vault to be opened. This can be a very long time because the vault only gets unlocked on special events.
