Battle Boss Blitzcrank is a common skin that was released in August 2015.
The skin is a reference to Dark Mechawful, from the Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story video game. Blitzcrank shares the same arcade theme with other champions including:
The skin itself features a brand-new model and texture leaving Blitzcrank almost unrecognizable. The model texture has been changed into a brightly colored green and blue skin which definitely stands out. Blitzcrank's right hand which he uses for his Power Fist has also been changed into a claw. You’ll also notice his legs have been removed and he now rolls around on a ball!
To add to the video game theme, Blitzcrank’s animations, sounds and particles have been changed. He’s certainly received a full makeover.
The skin features a new recall animation where Blitzcrank takes out a video game cartridge and gives it a blow. Just like in the old days of Nintendo Entertainment Systems!
