Aether Wing Kayle is a Justicar of the Royal Space Military, with her advanced exosuit, she acts as a ruthless executioner, laying low those who believe themselves above the law.
It’s long been established that, despite Kayle’s gleaming façade, she’s a cold killer. Mercy is not in her vocabulary – if you commit the crime, you face her blade. No exceptions.
This twisted soul is clear in Aether Wing Kayle’s splash art too. The eyes, in particular, make this quite apparent. Well, we say eyes, in actual reality they’re nothing more than black pits.
Behind her, the sun crests above the horizon. The background is simplistic and blurred, yet Aether Wing Kayle herself is clearly portrayed. Her golden strands of hair flutter around her serene facial features, which clash starkly with her coal-like eyes.
Aether Wing Kayle’s mechanical wings are on full display, although we feel as though her blue sword should be emitting more light than it is.
In-game, Aether Wing Kayle’s hair is a platinum blonde, slightly lighter than the sandy color of her wings. The wings move in an appropriately robotic fashion, twitching and jerking. They are also infused with some form of neon blue energy, which carries over into the sword.
She also comes with a new dance animation, in which she almost appears to dab several times. Perhaps not appropriate for a futuristic servant of justice, but a nice cultural reference nonetheless.
Her abilities have all received a new blue glow, but her ascended form is where she truly shines. The metal of her armor turns as black as her eyes, she flutters up off the ground, and all her abilities are accompanied with a cybertronic slashing noise.
Although this isn’t the rarest skin Riot have ever released, it’s hard to say if it will stick around forever, so be sure to grab it while you can!
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
