Young Ryze Lol Skin

Human Ryze, now known as Young Ryze, is a super rare skin that was one of the first skins to be released back in 2009.

Similar to the Black Alistar skin, Young Ryze was a reward for pre-ordering the collections edition of the game before it was released. It’s estimated that around 65,000 people received this skin back in 2009 making it less than 1% of the current LoL community.

This unique looking skin features many texture changes compared to the original skin such as Ryze’s skin colour has changed from blue to a more natural skin stone. He is also covered in green tribal tattoos which match the symbols on his scroll that he carries around on his back.

Since this was one of the first skins ever released none of the particles, animations or sounds have been changed and they remain the same. Although it is disappointing it’s consistent with other skins bundled with the collector's edition. In fact only Goth Annie from the collection has new particles but has the original sounds and animations.

Due to this skin being bundled with pre-orders the skin was never available in the Riot store. Of course this didn't stop people trading the skin online through auction websites. If you missed the chance to order the digital copy then the only way to get the skin was to buy the code online through a 3rd party.

Currently this skin is no longer available as Riot disabled skin redemption for certain codes back in 2014. There is no indication that this skin will be coming to the store so the only way to obtain this skin is to buy an account with it already redeemed.
