Tribal Ryze Lol Skin

At first glance, Tribal Ryze might look like a simple recolour of his default skin, but there’s actually quite a lot going on here. First, let us examine his splash art and determine whether or not that holds up to the rest.

One element of this piece stands out immediately – those roaring dinosaurs in the background. The presence of these beasts implies that humans were around at the same time as the dinosaurs, although given that the world seems to be ablaze, it’s safe to assume that this image marks the end of them.

Tribal Ryze is struggling to maintain a shield to keep himself from the fiery apocalypse as a Dinosaur charges from the rear. Who knows, maybe the Dino simply wants to snuggle up beneath the protective barrier.

The purple of the spell and the burning tones of the fire throws some interesting lightning upon Ryze. Overall, this is a nice piece, although we can’t help but thinking that an image involving Wooly Mammoths would have been more fitting. He’s Tribal Ryze after all, not Prehistoric Ryze.

He looks pretty great in-game though;

Tribal Ryze’s blue skin has lost much of its pigmentation and is now a pale white. He has a few blue tattoos marking his body, befitting a tribal warrior, and his garb seems at least semi-authentic.

This outfit is stitched together out of furs and leather. He’s sporting an impressive pair of tusk earrings that from some angles make him look a tad Orcish. His regular scroll has also been swapped out for a thick leather one. A minor touch, but a welcome one to be sure.

While this skin doesn’t come with any new animations or particles, it does offer major model changes, and it’s remarkably cheap too. There is some bad news though;

Despite how affordable Tribal Ryze is, it’s a Legacy skin – which means that you might not be able to get it for a while, unless of course, you’re lucky enough to find it in a mystery chest!
