Traditional Karma Lol Skin

Before we begin, we’d like to state that this skin does not bring back Karma’s fans – for newer players, Karma’s weapons of choice used to be fans, however, since her rework they have been sorely missed. To all old school Karma fans; although her fans are gone, she still has them in her splash art at least!

Despite this, Traditional Karma still does a top-notch job of capturing the old essence of the Champion.

Firstly, Riot decided to keep the old voice actor, although some have complained that she’s not as skilled as updated Karma’s voice actor, she sounds a lot more tranquil in our opinion – or at the very least, less serious.

Karma’s traditional skin brings back her old black and white dress too, held in place with ruby-encrusted clasps. It’s not exactly how Karma used to look, but you can clearly tell that it’s her – overall, it works as an excellent pastiche.

In-game, Traditional Karma looks quite nice – nothing exceptional, but it is a Legacy skin, meaning it’s a touch rarer than the rest. With that said, the in game skin is only half of the package, we can’t neglect at the other half;

Traditional Karma’s splash art is infinitely better than the mess she had before her rework. She sits cross-legged upon a rug and cushions, breathing deeply with one hand in a meditative position, her other clutches one of her classic fans.

The background appears to be a zen garden, with the gushing waters around Traditional Karma and the vibrant Cherry Blossom tree. The bright pink colours create some nice contrast between the darker shades of Karma’s outfit, while also helping further the setting.

The glittery, gauzy curtain also serves to frame Traditional Karma as it dangles around her, perfectly capturing the peaceful feel of old Karma – something that seems to have gotten a little lost in her updated skin.
