Super Galaxy Gnar is one of our favourite Gnar skins, released back in the October of 2017.
He shares his Super Galaxy theme with his companions Super Galaxy Annie, Super Galaxy Rumble and more!
Visually, this skin is a feast for the eyes. To start with, it has Gnar as a white-furred, plasma pistol toting Yordle – unfortunately, Gnar hasn’t quite figured out how guns work yet, so he just hurls it at people – he’s trying his best, leave him alone.
Although, what makes this skin truly standout is the change he undergoes whenever he transforms into Mega-Gnar, or perhaps more aptly “Mecha-Gnar.” Instead of the lycanthropic like transformation he usually undergoes whenever he transforms, this skin works a tad differently.
Whenever he’s on the verge of transforming he becomes shrouded in yellow circles, which represent his mech suit phasing around him. His advanced armor is essentially materialising onto his body at the speed of light; that’s a whole lot cooler than getting angry and enlargening you ask us!
Mecha-Gnar bears some resemblance to his default skin, only more robotic and epic – He hurls a UFO after all, you can’t get much cooler than that.
All sound effects have morphed into a robotic version of their old selves, and even his recall animation has received an update! Whenever Gnar hits the B key, a swarm of spiders attempt to attack him. They promptly expire as they strike the blue circle of the recall animation – if only it offered that kind of protection from enemies, my allies might not get killed while shopping.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
