For the fans of Robin Hood, this may just be one of the best Ezreal skins. Named after the city of the famous archer, it instantly invokes the associations of adventures of the famous Sharewood Company. Despite this fact there's a surprising lack of stealing from the rich and giving to the poor though, in fact, he doesn't even have a wooden bow!
Why is Nottingham Ezreal worth buying then? First of all, it's a table-top alter-ego of Pulsefire Ezreal, as said by him as soon as he encounters a champion with one of Rift Quest skins: "Ooh! Can I join your game? My character is Jarro Lightfeather, handsome Rogue-Paladin Elf". This information is also a part of his skin bio which you may see in League of Legends client.
Well, he certainly does look like he was a character in such a game. With his bright green outfit, he even bears a stark resemblance to Link, or maybe Zelda; let's be honest, visually they're basically the same person.
In his splash art, Nottingham Ezreal has particularly pointy, Elven ears. Both Zelda and Link also have this style of ears. Coincidence? Perhaps, but we doubt it.
Returning to the idea of Robin Hood for a moment, the splash art indicates that there may, in fact, be some elements of Sherwood Forest here, even if they're not actually present in-game.
First, Nottingham Ezreal stands within the branches of a great tree, and as anyone who's heard about Robin Hood will know, he and his band of merry delinquents dwelled within The Major Oak. There's another comparison that can be made though;
The limbs of this tree are peppered with arrows, and Nottingham Ezreal himself has a cocky look on his face – both of which remind us of the loveable outlaw.
Additionally, the skin is placed in the Albion collection, together with Viridian Kayle, Blackthorn Morgana, and Sherwood Ashe. Not only does the last one directly refer to the company of thieves with surprising moral values, but all of them also look like they are taken from Merry Adventures of Robin Hood.
This observation, however, will not make us combine offline data sources from the nearest libraries, and come up with elaborate conclusions. We are not that eager to study this similarity.
In-game there are unfortunately no significant graphical changes, aside from the transformation of his outfit into various shades of green and brown. Ezreal has also received a rope necklace that lends a touch of uniqueness to the skin, but other than that, there's not much to write home about.
Nottingham Ezreal, like many other discontinued skins, cost 520 RP when purchased from the official Riot store. The skin has now been decommissioned. As a result, we can say that it is rare skin.
Because it cannot be purchased through the official store, determining the skin's genuine worth is tricky and no one is exactly eager to do elaborate market research on this matter. It's also worth noting that the skin will no longer be accessible in official shops. As a result, the skin has become even more scarce.
As a Legacy Skin, it is locked in the vault, together with Striker Ezreal, Explorer Ezreal, TPA Ezreal, and SSG Ezreal. All of them are accessible on reliable secondary markets. The skin, however, cannot be obtained directly. This is due to the lack of a trading system in LoL. However, you can buy Nottingham Ezreal League of Legends accounts from one of the reputable sites.
Hextech crafting can be used to obtain Nottingham Ezreal. It can also be earned through the opening of mystery gifts. However, the chances of receiving it are extremely limited; thus, it is best to get it through secondary markets.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
