Caterpillar Kog'Maw Lol Skin

The caterpillar Kog’maw was released in 2010, making it one of the first unique skins of Kog’Maw. As can be understood with its name, the skin stylizes Kog’Maw as a caterpillar. This original idea was actually made the skin popular among summoners and the designers did a pretty good job of resembling Kog’Maw to a caterpillar.

The main theme of the skin is obviously a caterpillar, so we see lots of light green which is not a pessimistic color. In the splash art, we can see that Caterpillar Kog’Maw is roaming through the jungle and looking at a butterfly. In contrast to a real caterpillar, this style of Kog’Maw is definitely not cute but a bit monstrous. The golden horns of the skin make this feeling stronger. Other factors that make the skin a bit monstrous are the multiple red eyes and tooths. The nose part is in a different tone of green.  In the back of Caterpillar Kog’maw, we see golden and dark green lines. There is also a tail that is fully dark green. The feet of the skin are also green with some dots and they look like Caterpillar Kog’maw is capable of crawling.

As for the new effects, unfortunately, there are none. Although the skin looks very creative and original there are no new particles, animations, or sounds. But still, the skin looks attractive to play with. One another thing to note is that the skin is currently not available in the official store and in the legacy vault. This means that you’ll need to wait until the vault unlocks so you can buy the skin.
