What Is the Valorant Night Market?
The Valorant Night Market is a limited-time store where you get six random weapon skins at a discount. It’s the only time other than the daily offers when Riot Games features skins at a discounted price.
It shows up once every Act and gives you a personal mix of Select, Deluxe, or Premium skins — sometimes even knives. The twist? These skins are completely random and can’t be changed or rerolled.
It first dropped in December 2020, and now it’s a regular event players look forward to. No two offers are the same, and your discounts can range from 10% to 49% off. Think of it as Valorant’s version of a loot box, but you get to choose whether to buy or not.
Valorant Night Market Checker
Wondering how to check your Night Market in Valorant? It’s super easy. Just check the timer below.
Once the Night Market goes live, a card icon pops up on the main menu. Just click it. If you miss the pop-up, you can always click the Tarot card symbol near the top-right corner of your screen, right next to the store tab.
Each of the six cards flips to reveal a skin and its discount. You’ll also see a symbol and background color that tells you the skin’s tier — Select, Deluxe, or Premium.
When Is the Next Valorant Night Market in 2025?
The next Valorant Night Market will open April 18, 2025, and run until April 29, 2025. That’s a solid two weeks to check your skins, decide if they’re worth your Valorant Points, and maybe grab a good deal.
If you want a reminder, keep an eye out for the Tarot card icon near the store tab in your main menu. That’s how you’ll know it’s live. Most Night Markets start around 5 PM PT, which is 3 AM GMT the next day — same as past launches.
How Does the Valorant Night Market Work?
The Night Market gives every player a random set six weapon skins. These can be gun or knife skins from the Select, Deluxe, or Premium tiers — as long as they were released at least two Acts ago. Your set is locked. You can’t reroll or swap them.

Discounts vary per skin and are unique to you — ranging from 10% to 49%. Once it’s open, you’ll have two weeks to decide what to buy. And if you’ve had bad luck in the past, Riot added something called Bad Luck Protection: you’re guaranteed at least two Premium items if you don’t own many of them.
In the 2024 December, Riot added a Bad Luck Protection system to make things a bit fairer. If you don’t already own every Premium skin, you’ll get at least two Premium-tier items in your Night Market.
Also, you won’t get two skins for the same weapon, which helps keep the lineup more varied.
Which Skins Are in the Night Market?
🎯 Quick Summary
✅ Can Appear in Night Market | ❌ Will Not Appear |
Select, Deluxe, Premium skins | Ultra & Exclusive skins |
Skins released ≥2 Acts ago | Skins released <2 Acts ago |
Most melee skins under 3,550 VP | Premium knives over 4,350 VP |
Battle Pass & Gear skins excluded | Bundle-only or event skins excluded |
The Valorant Night Market pulls from a huge pool of older weapon skins, but not everything makes the cut. The selection is different for each player, and the six skins you get are randomized from a list that follows specific rules.
✅ Eligible Skins
Only weapon skins from Select, Deluxe, and Premium Edition tiers are eligible. These include rifles, pistols, SMGs, and most knife skins. To appear in your Night Market, a skin must have been released in the store at least two Acts before the current one.
This means newer collections won't show up right away. For example, bundles released in V25 Act 2 (like Troublemaker or Aperture) won’t be available until V25 Act 4.
Also, starting from patch v2.02 (EP 2 Act 2), Riot added a bit of structure to the randomness. Each Night Market is guaranteed to include at least two Premium skins or knives, unless you already own most of them.

❌ Skins That Won’t Appear
Some skins are completely excluded from the Night Market:
- Ultra and Exclusive skins (e.g., Elderflame, RGX 11z Pro, Spectrum)
- Skins released within the last two Acts
- Battle Pass skins
- Gear skins
- Any melee skin costing over 3,550 VP
So if you’re hoping for flashy Ultra bundles or brand-new drops, this isn’t the place — but there’s still a lot of great stuff up for grabs.

How Often Does the Valorant Night Market Happen?
The Night Market shows up once every Act, which means about three times a year. Riot’s been consistent with this since Episode 1 Act 3, so you can expect a new one with every seasonal update.
Here’s a quick look at recent drops:
- Feb 13 – Mar 4, 2025 (V25 Act 1)
- Dec 16 – Jan 7, 2025 (Ep 9 Act 3)
- Sept 27 – Oct 22, 2024 (Ep 9 Act 2)
It doesn’t always land on the same date, but the pattern stays steady. So if you missed one, don’t stress — another is always on the way.
How to Access Valorant Night Market Offers:
To grab your skins, just head to the Night Market Logo once it’s live. Flip each card to reveal the weapon and discount. If you like what you see, hit purchase with Valorant Points.

A few things to keep in mind:
- You can’t reroll or refresh the offers.
- The skins won’t include ones you already own.
- Once the Night Market ends, those offers disappear.
So if something catches your eye, don’t wait too long.

Tips for Getting the Best Night Market Skins
Want to make the most of your Night Market? Here are a few tips:
- Wait until the last day to buy — just in case a bundle you like shows up in the regular store.
- If you don’t love your options, save your Valorant Points. The next Night Market isn’t too far away.
- Check the skin tier by looking at the card’s symbol — Deluxe and Premium usually give better visual upgrades and effects.
- Don’t impulse-buy — discounts don’t always mean it’s worth it. Some skins still feel basic even at 30% off.
It’s all about knowing what you like and being patient for the right deal.
