When buying new accounts, you should always double-check and verify its credentials to make sure you’re getting the correct account. It’s also generally a good habit to change them to something you can remember, and link them to an email you own.

Take precautions and ensure that the account you’re getting is the right one. Check the region and contents of the account, and see if they match what you paid for.

Below is a fool-proof guide to not only checking your account details, but also changing them to finalize your purchase.

  1. Log in to your account within the League of Legends homepage. You cannot check your credentials from the League client or the Riot Games launcher.

  1. Return to the same homepage and hover over your username in the top right. A dropdown menu should appear. Click on the option that says “Settings”.

  1. At this point, the website will ask you to verify that you’re the real owner of the account before letting you make any changes.
In the case of unverified emails, it will simply ask you to input the password once again. If the account has a verified email attached, a 6-digit code will be sent to your email address to authenticate the login attempt.

  1. After you verify your password or email address, you will end up in the Account Management page. Within the Personal Information tab at the top, you’ll find your email address, along with the option to change it.
    Right below that is the
Riot Account Sign-In tab, which contains your password.

Safety Precautions: Two-Factor Authentication

It’s not necessary, but it is heavily recommended, to turn on two-factor authentication.

Two-factor authentication (or 2FA) simply verifies your login sessions with a code sent to your email every time you login or take any important actions within your account. Examples include changing your password, email or Riot name.

Remember that changing your password and verifying your email address is necessary to maintain your lifetime warranty for all LoL Accounts you purchase from our website.

This is not only a good habit to prevent scams, but also to prevent your account from being lost.
