Unchained Alistar is a limited-edition skin that was released back in September 2011.
Inspired by the legendary Minotaur from Greek mythology, Unchained Alistar features Alistar as a Minotaur with huge horns. The splash art for the skin shows an angry Alistar ready to charge at his enemies with steam coming out of his nose.
The skin in game features a few minor model changes as well as a new texture. The most noticeable changes are to his horns which have increased in size into some new elaborate white horns. The chains which are usually around his wrists and feet have been changed to pointy bracers which look at lot better than the default ones.
The skin features no new animations, particles or sounds which isn’t that surprising considering you can get the skin for free.
If you don’t have Unchained Alistar in your collection, then luckily you can still get it. If you head over to the official League of Legends YouTube channel here and subscribe to their channel, you will automatically unlock the skin in game. If you don't happen to own Alistar then don’t worry, the promotion will also unlock that for you as well!
